When a fiery celestial object crashes deep within the Blueridge Mountains, its arrival heralds an eerie shift in the world. Strange creatures never before seen stalk the night, their bodies twisted by an unnatural force. The once-stable ley lines pulse with discord, and those attuned to the arcane feel the star’s unsettling whispers in their dreams.
The people of Eastern Mill, a quiet frontier village, are the first to suffer. Crops wither, livestock vanish, and the bravest hunters return as hollow husks—if they return at all. Desperate for aid, the village elder, Garwin Stonebrow, calls upon those with the skill and courage to investigate. But as the party delves into the mystery, they soon discover that the Fall Star is no mere celestial body—it is something far older, far hungrier, and far more dangerous than they could have imagined.
Now, as the Ichor Plague mutates with newfound intensity, the adventurers must confront not only the monstrous horrors emerging from the crater but also the ancient forces vying for control of the fallen artifact. Will they harness its power, destroy it, or succumb to the creeping corruption that already infects the land?
