A young woman and her town are caught in a war between the Hammerhead Fishman Pirates led by the ruthless Pirate Captain Gamma "The Hammer" and a corrupt branch of Marines known as "The Sea Dogs" led by Marine Captain Bruise aka "Dogma". The swashbuckling abolitionist Sapphire Pirates arrive in town to balance the scales, and to help the young woman out of her situation, if they can.
