Your destination is a beautiful backwater planet, Abscondita, in orbit around Lalande 21185 in Ursa Minor. You can liquidate your trusty rust-bucket freighter, the Demeter, collect your once-in-a-lifetime paycheck, and be set for life, regardless of whether you decide to retire and settle down or return to the stars on a newer, better vessel, which you’ll be able to purchase outright.
All you have to do is get the cargo in your bay out of Sol after filing a decoy flight plan, jump to FTL, hypersnooze your way to Ursa with a mid-course sublight correction or two, find an off-books place to land, and report the ship scuttled after foundering during an orbital micrometeoroid event.
