Extra Life

Extra Life is a program that unites thousands of gamers across the world in a 24 hour gaming marathon to support local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. It began in 2008 and has since raised over $30 million for local CMN Hospitals. It’s a wonderful way for people to do two really great things: play games and help sick, injured and disable children in their communities.

“I’m in! So now what?”

It’s really easy to jump in and join this movement taking place across the globe. Sign up for the Coulee Con 2019 Team and then ask friends and family members to donate to your page. You can also create your own team and recruit others to help you! Make sure to choose our local CMN Hospital, Gundersen Health System in order for your funds to help kids in our community. Our hospital helps kids no matter where they get their care in our 25 county radius and 100% of the funds raised go back to help kids both in and out of the hospital.

“Cool! Done, what’s next?”

Now, this is the fun part! You choose how you are going to complete your 24 hour gaming. You can play from home, online and you can even choose any day that works for you! You can even break it up and do it an hour at a time. You just need to complete your 24 hours by national game day which is November 3rd.

“What kind of games can I play?”

The beauty of Extra Life is that ANY kind of game qualifies! You can do tabletop gaming, video gaming, or RPG. You can literally do anything! Host a gaming night at your house, place of business etc. The skies the limit!
