Stratego Tournament
The tournament will begin with 1 round of swiss, followed by three single-elimination games. This means all eight players will be guaranteed at least two games, regardless of performance. The first three games will be shortened to 30 pieces per side, while the final game will have the traditional 40 pieces. The winner of the tournament will receive a special prize! Rules will be explained at the start of the tournament. New players are absolutely welcomed, but I would suggest watching some tip videos on YouTube beforehand. Captured pieces will be public knowledge for the opponent. Each attack requires both players to show their respective piece. Please consult the URL for additional Stratego rules. There will not be timers for this event, but players will be expected to play at a reasonable pace. Repeated complaints about slow-playing will be arbitrated by the GM. This is my first time hosting an event, so I welcome player feedback!
