Welcome to the 24th year of Northern New England's best tabletop gaming convention. Join us for a weekend of board, role playing, card and miniatures gaming.
After the long year plus of the pandemic we are excited to get back to in person gaming in our new home at Mt Snow.
This year's Theme is Carnage: Lost in the Carnage Triangle. We hope that this theme will inspire a plethora of strange and wonderful tales of paranormal activity, strange disappearances and out of this world adventures!
We are also pleased to announce that we will be able to offer expanded gaming on Friday of the convention. We will offer an Open Gaming session from 8a-12p on Friday morning with scheduled gaming sessions starting at 1pm!
September 2021 - Carnage COVID Policy
Currently, the State of Vermont has no restrictions concerning social gatherings and events. But, with the pandemic still raging, we have decided we must update our COVID policy.
To pick up your Carnage badge at our registration desk, each badge holder will have to show the following: 1. A photo ID AND 2. A COVID vaccine card OR a negative COVID test.
For a COVID vaccine card, we will accept the physical card, or a photograph of your vaccine card. You must be fully vaccinated by the time you arrive at Carnage. Fully vaccinated means it has been at least two weeks since your Johnson & Johnson dose or your second Pfizer or Moderna dose.
For a negative COVID test, it must be taken 72 hours prior to your arrival at Carnage and not be an antigen test.
For minors, photo ID will not be required but they will still have to show a vaccine card or negative COVID test.
You will need a badge to enter any Carnage convention spaces at Mount Snow. There will be no exceptions!
Carnage will require that every attendee, vendor, and volunteer sign or agree to a general liability waiver. This waiver was recommended last year to the Carnage Board before the decision was made to cancel the in-person convention and would have been implemented then and moving forward.
Carnage will adhere to State and convention center COVID guidelines. In addition, Carnage is planning on:
Spreading gaming tables further apart to allow ease of movement and less congestion around gaming spaces.
Providing a Carnage cloth face mask to all attendees.
Having hand washing stations and hand sanitizer throughout the convention spaces. Please use them often!
Requiring correct contact information when signing up for the convention to allow us to have accurate information in the event contact tracing is needed.
Allowing only badge holders into the convention spaces. Non- gaming guests may register for a free Guest Badge at the main registration desk during the convention. Guest badges are subject to the same rules as all other badges and must show ID and a COVID vaccine card or negative COVID test to get the badge.
Masks will be required to be worn properly while anyone is riding on the Carinthia shuttle.
Please keep in mind that the decision we have made is subject to change. As we all have seen over the past year, this pandemic has caused many changes in policies. While we all hope things are back on track to normal, we all know that we are not out of this pandemic yet. We will announce any changes if they happen.
Stay home if you are feeling sick or have symptoms of COVID 19. Protect yourself and others and get your COVID vaccine if you can.
Questions about the Carnage COVID policy may be directed to the 2021 Carange Board President Joshua McGary at jmcgary@carnagecon.com.

Carnage is a multi-genre tabletop game (board, card, RPG, LARP and miniatures games) convention held annually the first weekend in November in Vermont. Starting Friday, November 5th and ending Sunday, November 7th, 2021, join us at the Mount Snow Resort for Carnage 24 and play tabletop games all weekend long! Carnage is a family-friendly event, and newcomers are always welcome.
We are aware that some of you have had issues trying to make a hotel reservation with Mount Snow and we hope this information will help. These issues will hopefully address themselves as Mt Snow continues to open fully and bring more staff back from furlough.
To make a reservation for Carnage, call 7 days a week between 10am and 7pm EST:
Call 1-855-332-1601 (NOTE NEW NUMBER) Enter option #2 (Northeast) Enter option #2 (Mount Snow)
When you get through, tell the reservation clerk you wish to book a room as part of the Carnage Convention.
You can only get the convention rate by calling the number above. The resort's current reservation policy is: $0 down to reserve a room and a credit card number on reserve to hold the room. The full room cost will be charged 2 days prior to arrival. If you cancel before your card is charged, there are no penalties. If you cancel after your card is charged, they will not refund your money. If you follow these steps and have issues, please contact us so we can try to get the issue resolved.
There currently is no online code available to book online. If you book online, you will not be able to get the convention reduced rate. We are working with Vail Resorts to try and allow online booking for Carnage in future years.
