Buckeye Game Fest 2019

Buckeye Game Fest 2019 will be held September 5–8, 2019. The War Room at Buckeye Game Fest will be held September 2–8, 2019. This years special guest is Watch it Played's Rodney Smith!

Located at the Hyatt Regency at 350 North High Street connected to the Convention Center in downtown Columbus. We have a room block for 2019 with rates at $124/night until 8/12/19. You can access it at the special room block page at the Hyatt Web site.

Buckeye Game Fest is central Ohio’s friendliest board gaming convention. Best know for our open board gaming space, and featuring the Columbus Area Boardgaming Society's extensive game library, this convention has been a local favorite for nearly two decades. Check out a game you’ve been dying to play or bring your own. Our main gaming hall doors and tables stay open the whole convention.

Library Hours

• Thursday, September 5: 9 a.m.–midnight
• Friday, September 6: 9 a.m.–midnight
• Saturday, September 7: 9 a.m.–midnight
• Sunday, September 8: 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

Must have BGF 2019 badge and valid government issued ID to check out a game.

In addition to the open gaming , our show also offers:

• Over 100 FREE events, including: Artemis ship bridge simulator, Elder Entertainment role-playing events, brand new play tests, and more!
• Annual consignment store: You can sell and purchase games.
• Annual Raffle: Chance to win great prizes like badges to Origins Game Fair, weekend stay at Ravenwood Castle, games and more. Half of the proceeds will be donated to The Extra Life Campaign.
• Play To Win: Play newly sealed games for a chance to win them. Each play = One Entry
• Extensive Vendor Hall and Artist/Designer Alley
