Everyone deserves a seat at the table Board Game Nation is a community of people that love all types of table top games. It is our mission to bring board game enthusiasts of all stripes together. We have created our own rulebook for a safe and fun time.

BADGE USAGE TERMS By accepting and using a Board Game Nation Battlefront badge, the holder hereby consents that the photographs, videos, or audio recordings for which they are the subject, taken at Board Game Nation Battlefront: Dayton, may be used by Board Game Nation for commercial purposes. Holder also hereby: (I) releases Board Game Nation from any liability for loss or damage to persons or property, infringement of any right, or any other claim or course of action of any kind; (II) agrees to adhere to Board Game Nation Battlefront policies and conduct themselves in a respectful manner as a participant of the event.

Board Game Nation management and representatives reserves the right to deny entry or remove from event facilities (including, but not limited to: hotels, event spaces, and other areas under event contract) any person, under Board Game Nation Battlefront event management’s sole and absolute discretion, who is behaving, or threatening to behave, in a manner that is threatening to the health and safety of event participants or disruptive to the event.

Anti-Harassment We do not tolerate harassment of convention participants in any form. Event participants reported or caught violating this policy may be expelled without refund at the discretion of event management. Board Game Nation defines harassment as any behavior that threatens a person or group or produces an unsafe and non-inclusive environment. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, offensive verbal comments or non-verbal experience related to gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, ethnicity, age, or religious beliefs.

Harassment includes, but is not limited to, sexual or discriminatory images in public and qusi-public spaces (online and offline), intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Harassment may take the form of comments, slurs, discriminatory or insensitive jokes, teasing, display or discussion of written or graphic materials, repeatedly standing too close to or brushing up against a person, or giving gifts of an unwanted or sexual nature. Advocating or encouraging any of the above is also considered harassment.

Harassment at Board Game Nation Battlefront does not include respectful disagreement or critique offered in good faith. Board Game Nation reserves the right to alter or broaden its definition of harassment at its sole discretion. If, at any point, you feel like your personal safety or that of others is put in jeopardy, please contact the Dayton Police Department at 937-333-2677 (non-emergency) or 911 (emergency).

Costume and Weapons Uniforms of current active service members are not allowed as costumes. These include uniforms for the police, active military, security guards, deputies, fire marshals, paramedics, etc.

Any firearms (historical or otherwise) must have their fire pins removed or otherwise be inert. Swords, and other like-weapons will need to be peace-tied. Functional firearms are prohibited excluding on-duty law enforcement. Allowance of costumed weapons is at the sole discretion of event management.

Alcoholic Beverages and Illegal Substances Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages outside of authorized areas prohibited. Illegal substances will not be tolerated. Violators will be asked to leave the building and charges may be filed for prosecution.

Minors Those under 18 years of age are required to be accompanied by a badge holding parent or legal guardian while at the convention center.

Smoking Smoking, including the use of electronic smoking devices, is not allowed inside any of the convention center facilities, including public areas and participating hotels. Smoking and the use of electronic smoking devices is allowed outside in designated smoking areas.

Advertising Advertisement during Board Game Nation Battlefront must be approved and cleared by staff. Any unauthorized flyers, posters, or advertisements of any kind placed in or around the convention center, including hotel, will be removed and you may be asked to leave the show. Your badge will be revoked, and you will not receive a refund.

Refunds Refunds will be available until 11:59pm October 17, 2025. Board Game Nation will refund the full purchase price for badges, less a 10% charge to cover vendor and processing fees.

Right to Change Board Game Nation has the right to change these terms at their sole discretion and without notice to badge holders.
