We have arranged a private two-hour VIP tour of the Weta Workshop in Wellington. Roundtrip transportation from the ship is included.
From The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit to Avatar and District 9, learn about the making of props, costumes and creatures created for your favourite films. Interact with cool stuff from our creative departments and, if you're lucky, catch an artist at work on our tour stage.

Because this is a small private VIP tour, each group can have no more that 16 guests. So I have booked two time slots - departing the ship at 8:45am and 9:35am.
After the tour you will be brought back to the port or you can be dropped off in downtown Wellington if you'd like, and then make your own way back to the ship.
The first group should be leaving the Weta Workshop sometime around 11:45am and the second group around 12:30pm.
