Beefy Wizard Con 2026

Beefy Wizard Con is a celebration of indy RPGs and skirmish-scale war games with an emphasis on connecting creators with players. Come here to mix and mingle with gamers who embrace the DIY spirit, punk aesthetic, and homebrew rule systems.

• LOCATION: Madison Labor Temple

If you've written your own ruleset or want to explore what's outside the mainstream of big studio releases, then this event is for you!

In addition to scheduled games the convention will include:

• Open gaming tables
• Mordheim Tournament (it's out of print! It counts!!)
• A kit-bash challenge on Friday
• Sellers bazaar on Saturday morning
• Kit-bash painting awards given out Saturday afternoon

Beefy Wizard Con will be a small (50-100) person event with a focus on community-building and a close knit setting.

Free food will be provided on site AND the convention has easy access to a number of restaurants on S Park St. There will be a alcoholic beverages available for purchase in the afternoon/evening on site.

Event submission is open until March 13th, DMs get in there and sign up to run your favorite RPG or skirmish game! Once events are approved, registration will open in late March, early April.
