The Butterfly Effect
You've invented time travel. Unfortunately, you've also invented making a complete mess of history. Can you recreate your own past before another “you” irreparably warps the timeline?
In The Butterfly Effect, you take on the role of a butterfly time scientist trying to recreate your own past after fracturing time and space.
At the start of the game, you'll roll dice to determine your Timecode – the key events that led to your present day. Deal a hand of cards to each player and reveal the top card of the deck, starting the shared Timeline.
Each of your turns, you'll play a card from your hand, either adding to the Timeline and causing minor disruptions – or rewriting history, with cascading, catastrophic effect.
