Vendor Resources and Policies

Peabody Heights has asked us to tag them in all posts so they can repost (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) -- this is very import. Make a video of what you are making/selling. Take lots of rad pics. I will do the same, but it matters way more if our vendors and creators make their own posts.

What You Need to Bring - You need to bring a six foot table and chairs. Since this is a brewery, they don’t have nearly enough furniture for us. You can also bring smaller tables and shelves. This is our first year doing this so we're not 100% on how much extra space you'll have, but if your vending neighbor(s) are comfortable with you setting up additional smaller tables then go for it. The venue is cool as heck and they are very happy with us being there so I imagine they will be flexible with set ups and such. If you can bring an extra six foot table, please do. I imagine we can always use more.

Assumed Creator Exclusivity on all Products - GameFace Con's primary goal is to put a face to the names behind the tabletop game industry. This means fans can buy directly from the creators to support them without an intermediary. When a creator has a booth at GameFace and they are selling their products, it is assumed that they have exclusivity to their products, meaning that no other vendor can sell those same products.

On occasion, if another vendor wishes to sell products that a GameFace creator is also selling at the convention, that non-creator seller must get written approval from the creator via email and send it to the GameFace organizer before the first day of the convention. Both the creator and non-creator seller must be on the email with a list of the products that are being agreed upon. To clarify, this is only for other creators who are present at the con. We just don't want, for example, "Radical Games Company" to have a booth and then have another vendor selling all the Radical Games Company products. If you sell products by a creator who is not present at the con, you are good to go and do not need permission.

A product is defined as anything the creator makes including books, zines, stickers, patches, original dice, artwork, prints, miniatures, etc.

Lodging - If you search Baltimore (Charles Village neighborhood) on AirBnB, you'll find very affordable places for 2 adults. This is likely your best bet and you'll be within walking distance to the venue as well as some great restaurants, The OttoBar, and more. Also, close to Peabody Heights (our venue) is Red Emma's, Toki Underground, and Pete's Grill.

Hampden is also an option with great restaurants and Atomic Books (with the Eight Bar), Celebrated Summer Records, but it's a long-ish walk. Great restaurants are Golden West, Holy Frijoles (pinball!), Nepenthe, Melanie's at Griffith's (awesome bar) and Blue Bird (great cocktails).

I live in Towson which is a few miles north of the venue. There are some great hotels up that way as well.

You can bring your merch by if you want to load some of that in early. Peabody has a locked room for out loot.

Wristband for Vendors - You will get a wristband if you are a vendor that allows you 15% off your bar tab. WOO!

Parking - There is a small parking lot and free street parking in front of the brewery. There is also ample parking in the neighborhoods surrounding the event.

Load In and Set Up - Saturday from 8am to 12pm because the con starts at 12pm. Please arrive as soon as you can so you are fully set up by 12pm. You do not have to break anything down Saturday night, thank goodness. We do require you to stay through 8pm on Sunday since a lot of people can only attend Sunday and some do arrive on the late side. We suggest putting a table cloth over your loot overnight.

*Convention Hours are 12pm - 8pm both days. *

WIFI - There is WIFI available at the venue and we will give you the password when you arrive.

Electric Power - There are a generous amount of outlets in each room, but please bring a power strip and/or extension cord if you own one.

Load Out - Sunday at 8pm. If you really need to get home early, you can start breaking down at 7pm.

Food - Peabody has their own awesome food truck with some great options. You can also get food delivered to Peabody, no problem. There will be a food truck outside, but we're not sure which one. Walkable spots: Red Emma's (coffee and more) and Pete's Grill (diner style breakfast).

Delivery options:

BRD (amazing fried chicken sandwiches and such)

Blue Pit BBQ

Charles Village Pizza

Ribaldi's Pizza & Subs

Very Late Night Eats:

Jong Kak is AMAZING (like really awesome)
