HARASSMENT POLICY Arkansas RPG Con 2018

While Arkansas RPG Con is a small event that has never faced any issues with harassment we are dedicated to providing a harassment-free convention experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, body size, race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, political background, or fandom.

We do not tolerate harassment of attendees in any form. This includes, but is not limited to: physical assault, verbal harassment, sexual harassment, stalking, unwanted physical contact, or unwanted advances. In addition, engaging in any photography where the subject feels they are being stalked, exploited, degraded, or disrespected is also strictly prohibited.

As reminder, applicable laws related to Sexual Harassment, Criminal Harassment and Sexual Assault, as well as standards of normally acceptable behavior apply inside our events just as they do anywhere else. Therefore, actions which break these laws will be referred to the police and may result in a criminal charge.

Incidents with blatantly sexual speech, acts, simulated acts and/or inappropriate touching or any other actions undertaken by any Attendee which in the sole determination of Arkansas RPG Con, its staff and its volunteers detract from the overall experience of other attendees at the event may also result in your removal from the event without refund.

If you experience an act of harassment, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns related to attendees experience at Arkansas RPG Con please: 1. immediately notify the nearest available staff member or volunteer of the situation; or 2. if you cannot find a staff, crew, or volunteer member to assist you, please go directly to our registration desk located by the buildings exit.
