And I purchased the domain name, and here we are. A con developed out of love and also spite with a side of pettiness. Here is our story:

We were sitting at an event for a game that we have long loved and cherished. To support the game that my kids grew up playing, we have attended a Convention that was their "Premiere Event" for the past four years, which takes place every November.

The game has changed hands in the past two years, with new ownership controlling the IP. We attended the 2025 event to find that they have just pooped on the event organizers and on vendors that have long supported their event and their championship tournament. Honestly, as a mom, I have not had a great feeling about it. The vibes have been off for me. But as many Miniature Wargamers know. When you commit to a game, it is costly to swap. So, in my head, I am thinking, how can I be petty and spiteful, yet allow my kid to continue playing this game? And alas. A Lame Ass Con is born. You do not need the game manufacturer's support to have a great event. Marvel Crisis Protocol is a great example of this. (Not the game I am talking about)

My Husband, son, and I were a part of a group that ran a successful con in 2020. Yes, it was probably the last con in 2020! In 2020, as 2020 did, our group fell apart as we waited for the COVID sanctions to lift. I missed doing this, and I have tried to revive it several times, but I was so busy with my business launch that it kept falling apart. And as many know, Spite and Anger are always a GREAT way to launch something. So after very little debate with my husband. A Lame Ass Con, a can run by former Owners of Indystorm, is born.
