2027 D8 Summit Charity Convention

The Fourth Year in Dixon, Our Twelfth Show Ever

Join us for our 2027 gaming fundraiser, in a new location - the Northwest Territory Historical Museum in Dixon, Illinois! This historic building offers spacious accommodations, historical exibits for parusal, several rooms for private sessions, and the amenities you've come to expect including coffee service (with donation for a D8 Summit mug), a cash bar on-site, and allowance for outside food and (non-alcoholic) drink. A cash bar will be available on site during the evenings. Several quality and affordable eateries and entertainment venues are within a short walk of the convention, ready to serve you, and we will host more entertainment opportunities inside the venue than ever before.

There are also events at fun alternate sites around town, including our after hours host Shinny’s!

This is the twelfth D8 Summit Charity Convention, a charitable gaming event with an international draw. This event fundraises for quality local causes as well as educational and health outreach in the gaming community. As a fundraising event ran by D8 Summit Charities Inc., a 501c3 charity registered in the United States, all donations made at the event are tax deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law.

Attending our event is easy. It all starts with obtaining your badge. Donating for a badge allows you to sign up for any events with available seating. Events start showing up on this page in December 2026. You can select events starting in mid January, with some donor levels getting to choose earlier. Don’t wait, as some of our more popular events fill up very quickly!
