AcadiaCon Board Game Convention

AcadiaCon: Sail on over to DownEast Maine and hop on board for this summer weekend of all-day board gaming at AcadiaCon! We'll have open tabletop gaming and scheduled games inside throughout the day and even outside in the Party Game Tent! Don't panic, we've got air conditioning. We even have camping available! There will be tons of prizes, play-to-win games, a chance auction, and you'll even find meals, snacks & drinks. We are stoked. Get your entry badges right here ➡ ➡ ➡

Date/Time: Sat July 15th 9am-9pm / Sun July 16th 9am-6pm

Location: The Gatherings, 1208 Surry Rd, Surry ME 04684

Entry Badges: $20 Sat / $15 Sun. 60 tickets are available each day

Camping: $25 donation per night Fri/Sat/Sun... pitch your own tent, car camp, limited RV spots. Contact us if you're interested!

Mission: Other than having a ton of fun and hanging out with a bunch of awesome people, we're helping to raise $32,000 for The Gatherings community center, a 501c3 charity. This figure is the cost of of much-needed parking lot improvements to increase capacity and safety for everyone in the community <3

Food/Drink: BYO food and drink if you like, but we'll also have lots of yummy stuff available. You might find chili, bbq, chowder, potato salad, cookies, muffins, candy, ice-cream and more! All purchases help us meet our fundraising goals.

Games: We'll have 100's of games (see our library and other updates HERE), but you should totally bring some of your own! There will be plenty of open gaming going on. If you'd like to plan on hosting a specific game, you can CLICK HERE to submit events so folks can sign up in advance. Sponsorship: We're seeking game publishers and local businesses as sponsors, please consider food, supplies and prize donations! We love play-to-win games, and the Chinese auction & raffles are a great way to promote your game-themed product or service. Sponsoring businesses will be listed on our website and events page, plus signs will be placed next to each donated gift, prize, and sponsorship at the event, thanking you for your contribution.

Other stuff to do: Surry is a sweet little town, 40 minutes away from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Why not stay a while and make the most of this awesome place?! There's nearby hiking trails, beaches, swimming holes, cafes and hotels. But it's cool if you just wanna hang with us all weekend, too.
