The Azores are known for their incredible scenic beauty and is known as "The Hawaii of Europe". We will be getting off the beaten path to enjoy nature at its most beautiful.
We will enjoy several easy-to-moderate hikes to some of São Miguel's stunning waterfalls. Along the way, our professional guide will teach us about the nature and history of the Azores. Surrounded by scenic beauty, we will enjoy a picnic lunch (included). And bring your swimsuit, as we may have the opportunity to take a dip in one of the lovely natural pools!
NOTES: The trails are short, but do have some steep sections. Make sure you are in good physical condition and wear comfortable trail shoes.
Bring a small backpack with water, a snack and a rain jacket (the weather changes suddenly on the island). Also bring a swimsuit and towel so you can frolick in the natural pools.
