Founded in 227 BC, Cartagena boasts over 2200 years of history and has some incredible Roman ruins, including the Teatro Romano, one of the oldest surviving Roman theatres in the world. The history continues with numerous historic buildings, landmarks and structures, including the medieval fortress of Castillo de la Concepción, which is perched on the highest hill in the city and offers spectacular views.
Join us for this 3-hour walking tour, which will feature these and many other of the city's most famous landmarks. Learn about the history and culture of the city, and experience its delicious cuisine as we sample various tapas dishes and wine along the way.
NOTES: The historic center of Cartagena is located just a few steps from where our ship docks. When the tour is finished, there will be time to continuing exploring the city and visit the historic sites.
