IoWorlds 2018

Greetings, fellow patriots! Welcome to the registration page for IoWorlds 2018 (which happens to be occurring in 2019.) Hey, the Super Bowl does it, why can't we? This page will be updated with a full schedule and event details in the near future, but I wanted to get this page set up so people can begin planning travel & sleeping arrangements.

Four years ago in 2014, I was unable to attend the official FFG World Championship in Roseville, MN but still wanted to play Thrones at the highest levels. Thus, a new idea, and a new tournament were born. IoWorlds debuted as a small event at a local gamestore for the locals who were unable to go to Worlds to still have a tournament that weekend. We launched with some great promotional housecards and several attendees beyond the original scope. In fact, due to AGOT tournaments being scheduled during the week at Worlds, we even had several people come down from MN who wouldn’t otherwise have been anywhere near the area!

In the ensuing years, change has come as the event has grown and the venue changed to my home. And this year brings even more changes. With the closure of some other LCGs, the FFG event schedule has become more reasonable this year in regards to AGOT. As well, a number of players over the past few years have said they would be able to attend if it wasn’t on the same weekend as the World Championship. So here’s the chance to put that to the test. IoWorlds has been moved to Jan. 11-13, 2019!

In addition to your badge, please be sure to "purchase" a ticket for your sleeping arrangements. This will allow us to provide the best experience for those staying at the house, as we will have a more accurate headcount.
