Midwest GameFest 2017

Masters Class: A History of Gaming with Rick Loomis

Gaming industry legend Rick Loomis discusses the early days of tabletop gaming and provides some context for today's hobby games. Rick is the president and founder of Flying Buffalo Inc, the oldest adventure game company still run by its original ownership. Flying Buffalo publishes Tunnels & Trolls, Grimtooth's Traps, Citybooks, the Nuclear War card game, Pizza Dice, Death Dice, Lost Worlds Combat Picture Books, Mercenaries, Spies & Private Eyes, and Ace of Aces. Pick his brain on how to get published, how to use Kickstarter, or just ask "What the heck is play by mail, anyway?"
