What is Advent Your Life?
Advent Your Life is the first annual virtual game event. Play for achievements in your real life! You play the game over 25 days for real results in areas of life that are important to you.
Game Modes
Each game has 3 modes.
- easy : a game you can play in 5 minutes a day
- normal : a game you can play in 25 minutes a day
- completionist : play every aspect of the game, playing for stretch goals, side quests, and challenges!
Why Pay to Play?
Paying to play the game is like a promise to yourself - I want to play this game to have results in THIS area of my life, and it's worth it to me to play this game. Anyone can have fun playing these games, even by playing for just 5 minutes a day.
How to Register
To Play:
Create a user on tabletop events and buy a badge to this virtual event. You have to have a badge before you can buy tickets to the games you want to play. One person can buy badges for the entire family using their account. Just supply a unique email for each player for them to get the daily email for the games they are signed up for, or provide your own email for each household member who is playing the game.
Buy tickets to the games you want to play. This is where you sign up. The game you buy for December 1 is good for December 1 to December 25. You don't have to buy 25 tickets. You don't have to be available at the time the event says in the schedule.
Open your email inbox every day to print and play the game of the day! Each day's game will be sent by mailchimp by 6am MST.
Why Tabletop Events?
Tabletop Events takes care of the infrastructure I need for you to register in my games. I can see who is registered in the game, and I have a way to deliver your daily game. You also get to peek at my library of books and games. Some games, if you are playing in Calgary, you can check out and borrow from my library.
Also, I love tabletop events. We use tabletop events at Fallcon, the annual boardgaming convention in Calgary (see fallcon.com).
